JAI PANDIT
CO-FOUNDER
Jai completed his BSc in Finance Accounting and Management at the University of Nottingham, following which he pursued his ACII in Insurance in the UK, attaining the distinguished title of ACII – one of the youngest in Kenya. He went on to attain his MSc in Insurance and Risk Management from CASS Business School in 2014.
Having been with a niche Underwriter for 5 years in the insurance industry, his primary focus was risk management and operational efficiency gains. He headed the risk management function created from scratch, and focused the business awareness on the complete process of identification, assessment, transfer, and management of the risk management process within the organisation.
Being a Chartered Insurer and a qualified Specialist Risk Manager has allowed him to focus greatly on the industry and constantly gain expertise, keeping up-to-date with developments within the field. Having now stepped out of the Underwriter, the knowledge gained from “the other side”, provides valuable insight into insurance optimisation for insured clients, creating the right portfolio of insurance covers that the business requires in relation to its risk appetite.
